Christine Sanders

Bio

Christine Sanders is a media executive and producer based in New York. As a creative producer, she is the recipient of the SF Film Rainin Grant and was selected to participate in the 9th edition of the Venice Film Festival Biennale Cinema College for the feature film Madame Negritude. She has received a Cannes Lions, Webby Award, and Digiday Publishing Award for her commercial work. She has been featured in Essence Magazine, Afro Punk, Blavity and Mic.

She is currently a Senior Executive Director at BuzzFeed Inc where she oversees the editorial identity, branded content, and project management teams. Prior to that she was the Director of Production at the Wall Street Journal Custom Studios where she oversaw production for branded content. She has worked at MTV Networks and Food Network in various production and development roles. Christine earned her BA in Journalism and Africana Studies from New York University.
